Regional Flood Defence Committee (RFDC)

The Midlands Regional Flood Defence Committee met on 14th October to which a group of us went (County Cllr Liz Eyre, District Cllr Tom McDonald, WDC Environment Services manager Steve Jordan, the Parish Council vice-chair, a member of the residents Flooding Action Group, and Parish Council Chairman Brian Browne. The Environment Agency presented a forward plan for projects, and the Charlton scheme was scheduled for 2011/2012.

At the RFDC meeting on 20th January 2010, attended by Brian Browne and Derek Arnold,  the Committee confirmed Charlton as a candidate scheme, scheduled for 2011/12, subject of course to funding available.
